Inmotion Axle Weighbridge

Chain of Responsibility In-Motion Axle Weighing Solution

Inmotion Axle Weighbridge

INTRODUCTION

“Mass Management” of road transported goods in the supply chain through axle weighing and overall vehicle mass weighing and management is a critically important link in the Chain of Responsibility.

New National Heavy Vehicle Laws that will underpin the establishment of a National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) will soon take effect.

The Drive&Weigh 8000 is the ideal Chain of Responsibility solution for detecting both overloading and underloading of vehicle axles weights and is an effective preventative measure against axle over-loading infringements and total load infringements.

By eliminating axle overloading the Drive&Weigh 8000 can also deliver improved site safety and OH&S, reduce potential insurance costs and positively address Chain of Responsibility (COR) legislative requirements.

The In Motion Axle Weighing System can be installed as a new stand-alone vehicle weighing solution or it can be integrated with most existing on-site vehicle weighing systems. It can also be integrated with various traffic, lights, weight displays, message displays, tag readers, report or docket printers or other software controls.

The attractiveness of the In Motion Drive&Weigh 8000 is its innovative ability to provide accurate vehicle axle weights and total load weight of Trucks and Vehicles while achieving the highest level of traffic throughput.  There is no need for repeated stopping and starting a vehicle in order to position each axle exactly onto the axle scales – you simply drive the vehicle slowly over the scales at around 5-7 KPH and each vehicle axle will be weighed, compared to known limits, and load weights confirmed.

With the inclusion of an optional automatic driver control station the in-motion axle weighing system can be fully automatic in operation. The Drive&Weigh 8000 is the ultimate Chain of Responsibility Axle Weighing Solution!

DESCRIPTION

The Drive&Weigh 8000 is an inmotion axle weighbridge driven by a Scale Components written custom-programmed Systec IT8000 digital inidcator. The Systec IT8000 indicator controls a number variables, including truck configuration. The Drive&Weigh 8000 is ideal for the Transport Industry, Waste Industry, Forestry Industry, Demolition and Excavation Industry, Marine and Ports, etc.

FLEET OPERATION

Drive&Weigh is ideal for detecting overloading of vehicles and therefore is an effective prevention against fines for both axle and total load infringements.

Fleet operators also find the Drive&Weigh useful for the prevention of under loading, therefore encouraging plant operators to improve efficiencies by maximising payloads.

In eliminating overloading, the Drive&Weigh can also deliver improved site safety which can have a positive impact for insurance purposes.

PERIPHERAL EQUIPMENT

Drive&Weigh can be integrated with most traffic, lights, weight displays, message displays, tag readers, docket and report printers, PC type keyboard interface to meet the most demanding application.
