Scale Components received many enquiries for the CubiScan Pallet Dimensioning System at the Supply Chain & Logistics Conference recently held in Brisbane.

The CubiScan 1200-AKL Pallet Dimensioning System is able to accurately attain dimensions of palletised goods of both cuboidal and non-cuboidal shapes up to a size of 2.5m Wide x 2.5m Long x 2.6m High. Heavy duty platform scales with a capacity of 6 Tonnes perform the weighing functionality of the Pallet Dimensioning System to ensure the heaviest of pallet loads can be weighed.
The AKL Pallet Dimensioning System uses an overhead-mounted sensor configuration to provide a comprehensive view of the freight measurement area while allowing forklift access from any direction. The powerful and accurate sensors measure freight in any orientation and of virtually any shape, colour, or package material.
The CubiScan 1200-AKL utilizes advanced Class 1 infrared laser sensing technology that is safe for operators and freight (in accordance with DIN EN 60825-1 usage regulations). To create a fully integrated and automatic freight dimensioning and tracking station for palletised and large cargo freight, Scale Components also supplies digital image capture and barcode consignment note printing technology.
Scale Components is the exclusive Australian distributor for the highly regarded CubiScan range of cubing and dimensioning systems manufactured by Quantronix in the USA. Scale Components is based in Brisbane with two smaller branches in Melbourne and Sydney providing full after sales support anywhere in Australia.
