A CubiScan Dimensioning System is currently being supplied to a Sydney distribution centre for indentifying dimensional and weight information of items to be warehoused.

Scale Components is the exclusive Australian distributor of the highly regarded CubiScan range of Dimensioning Systems manufactured by Quantronix Inc. in the USA.
The CubiScan 100 Dimensioning System eliminates the need for data to be manually collected and hand entered into the client’s Warehouse Management System. Each item is first scanned using the attached cordless bar code scanner for its ID data before it is placed onto the CubiScan 100’s platter.
At the press of a button, the CubiScan Dimensioning System automatically calculates both dimensional and weight values of the item which are then collated for uploading directly into the client’s Warehouse Management System (WMS). Very fast, very easy and totally eliminates human errors during data collection and database entry.
To allow the CubiScan Dimensioning System to be used in different locations within the warehouse, a mobile system was purchased by this client with all components mounted on a self contained trolley including a heavy duty battery and power inverter which allows over eight hours operation. At the end of each shift, the mobile Dimensioning System is simply taken to a power outlet for recharging.
Scale Components has a complete range of Dimensioning Systems available to readily identify both the external dimensions and the weight of items ranging from CD’s and small books up to oversize pallet loads. Scale Components is an Australian Owned company based in Brisbane with two sub-branches operating out of Sydney and Melbourne. Trained staff provides total after sales support anywhere in Australia including internet based troubleshooting and system reporting.
